I posted Elodie's color blocked shelves recently, and the illustrious names she listed as design influences made me want to get her summer reading list. She admitted that her new business leaves her little time for reading, but sent along a stellar list of French favorites. Click on the covers for more info or images of each. Most have been translated into several languages & the "international" lists I've been getting have been wonderful reminders and introductions to some important authors. L'écume des jours is possibly one of the most original and touching books I've ever read. Brilliant. Love it.
